British Citizenship for child

I would like to register my child as a uk citizen under 18. I am wondering, does my child need to have valid EU passport in order to register as a british citizen? My childs EU passport is going to expire. thank for advice

In form they ask whether referee knows child at least for 3 years. But if child is less then 3 years old? What to answer then?

It doesn't matter. For a child under 3, it needs to be a professional that is engaged with the child, ie. nurse, health visitor etc.

A valid passport is not required.

I was confused, because in form they asking the reason why I cannot provide valid passport or id and it is indicated in form that it can delay application if valid proof of ID is not submitted..so I was not sure if it is compulsory
