New rental agreement whilst waiting on decision

Hi Guys,

Could someone please advise on how to get an accommodation/rental agreement whilst I am waiting on my application decision?

My BRP is expiring in december 2020 but I am looking to get a new place; but obviously the landlord would ask for my right to stay in uk for the rental agreement contract.
Minimum rental agreements are usually 6 months.

So, any advise from anyone on this?

Unless a landlord/letting agent himself/herself is facing same or have undergone same situation, unlikely anyone will allow a new tenancy especially during the current climate. Better to find a temporary sharing accomodation as a lodger instead a tenant where most often the landlords are more lenient.
