Child naturalisation

Hi there,

Can you plz guide me with this. I applied application for child naturalisation yesterday. But no appointment available in Glasgow. Should I wait for appointment or home office launched app. Can I use that app instead to go to sopra steria appointment?

Child is always registered as British Citizen not naturalisation.

You will not be able to book any appointment for now. UKVCAS is opening up in phases. System is not open for August applicants. NEXT steps will be communicated via email. Keep an eye on UKVCAS flash message.

Actually my children born in Uk 2017 and 2018. And I got my indefinite in 2020. That’s why I am applying for naturalisation. I submitted application 2 two days ago. Should I wait for the email For use app or I need to book an appointment with UKVCAS. Someone told me your children not need to go to sopra steria for finger prints you can use app to upload the documents. Can you plz guide me with this

You can still upload the documents via UKVCAS website and submit to UKVI even before biometrics.
For biometrics you will have to wait for UKVCAS email for next step as CR001 mentioned also.

I have one question to ask if you can help me with this please. I applied for my child naturalisation and I got one form regarding referee signature. What kind of detail referee should write back of child picture. If you can help me plz

Full name and DOB. Also note you need 2 referees not 1. Adding on, all documents are scanned so the physical write up of name and DOB is only useful IF HO asks for originals at a later stage (very very rare).
