Hi everyone
I submitted my application on 21st of May and still have not received any acknowledgement.

Does anyone know what acknowledgement email really means as in process ? I mean assuming it is a sign that your application has been allocated to one of the case worker !!

Lastly, has anyone had their approval but never received an acknowledgement?

The acknowledgement means simply that, an acknowledgement of an application. Nothing more. Many don't get it.

It is not a sign of anything and your application only starts being progressed once you have enrolled biometrics and your electronic uploads are sent to UKVI by UKCVAS.

This is what I got after sending an email regarding no application acknowledgement received until today.

Thank you for your email.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic applications may take longer to process due to staffing. Your application is in a queue and will be dealt with in due course.

A caseworker will contact you if they require any further information from you throughout the course of the application process. Please note; we will not contact you to provide regular updates and cannot provide a definitive application processing timescale.

Your application will now continue to progress until a decision is made
