6 month wage slips (ILR SET (M) Adequate maintenance & Accomoadation

Hi everyone,
I am just wondering what is the requirement for number of wages or duration of an employment when it comes to adequate maintenance & accomodation catagory,

For usual finacial requirment 18600 it is ATLEAST 6 months. However for adequate maintenance it is not very clear in the guidance notes. It says ' 6 months or any shorter period'


Could any one explain or clarify this to me.

Thanks CR001,

I have read the FM maintenance guidlines in detail. Could not find the precise answer there.

That is why I came here to get explanation (If you could)

For instance.

If someone has started employment 2 months prior to submission of application then she has to submitt 2 months wage slips, letter from employer and 2 months bank statements? along with the proof of career's allownce. OR has to wait for 6 months in an employment then apply?

If you are relying on meeting he financial requirment, which is different to the adequate maintenance route for when you are claiming specific benefits, the requirment is 6 months payslips and bank statements and employer letter.

Yes we are relying on adequate maintenance and accomodation category.
Carrer's & disability allownce as well as part time employment to meet the conditions.

So in that case do we need to provide the proof of an employment/wage slips etc for six months? Or we can go ahead with just 2 months wage slips?
