IHS surcharge

Post by ZRM » Wed Sep 30, 2020 10:13 pm

Hello,

I would appreciate your advise in respect of IHS surcharge.
As part of my spouse extension application, I indicated IHS reference number that was given to me under my previous application. I thought I should use the same reference number and when I pay visa application fee, I will be given the link to pay IHS surcharge. Apparently, I made a mistake, since I have not received any links or instructions to pay IHS surcharge. Could you please advise, should I cancel my application and re-apply again or there is a way I can fix it?

The other thing, is when I tried to register at https://www.immigration-health-surcharg ... ment/start, in order to make a payment, It displayed £400 rather than £1000 for 30 months. What I'm doing wrong?

Thank you.

Are you filling the correct form. Also you need the new Ihs number.

In respect of IHS reference number should I go ahead and pay £400? Since I read in the guidelines it should be £1000?

Assuming you had selected and filled correctly the FLRM form but still if £400 is popping up then there might be a glitch in the website. For this purpose, either you can wait a bit or pay it as the authorities will request later, the differential amount.

Thank you for your advise. I re-applied, and indicated the route that you mentioned and it showed £1000 for IHS surcharge. Many thanks!
