Kid travel visa while awaiting MN1 decision

Hi All ,
Just wondering what visa i need to apply for my kid if his MN1 is pending with HO? I need to travel for work and his visa expires next week and as i understand at current pace HO wont make a decision although it is 1 month since giving Biometrics.
And can we apply for extension visa if his MN1 application is already pending?

Visa applications are also taking long. There is no quick solution for you under current circumstances.
