Hi, could you please share more timelines? I have applied for in country switch to GTV stage 2 on 9th September, biometrics on 23rd, still waiting.

endorsement on 7th of September

Biometrics on 23 rd September
Decision 22nd of October (today!)

Eligbible for IDV email confirmation – 2th Aug 2020
Invitation to use IDV – 8th Sept 2020 (opted-in)
IDV completed - 8th Sept 2020
Escalated to UKVI (10.5 weeks after payment): 15th October 2020 by phone

no appointments available until 7th Jan and website says I need to take appointment before Feb 2nd.

3 questions:

1. Since I already have BRP why cant UKVCAS simply reuse my existing credentials? Has anyone done this? How can I request this?

2. In case above doesn't work, how do I request to use the IDV app?

3. What if I dont get the appointment before Feb 2nd?

You need to book an appointment, like everyone else has to.

Idv app ceased in September for all except student visa applicants.

question: has anyone been able to reschedule the appointment to an earlier date? Jan 8th is too far out in the future for me and I want a earlier date..

Hi Guys,

While completing my Stage 2 application form, can I put the Date you plan to arrive in the UK in any date in the future. I want to put it in December 2021 or January 2022, do you think this will be acceptable?

Also can I apply for stage 2 visa for my self alone now and later apply for my spouse and daughter later in the future.
