How long it usually take to get call from Gerry (Islamabad) after decision is made on visa application?

I didn't receive any email from UKVI. I called their call centre and they told me that decision is already made. However, till not, no email from VFS for passport collection.

I am not sure, either they will inform via call or email. I've called VFS but they are not telling anything on call about passport.

I spoke to consultant in Islamabad, she told me, it usually take upto 2 weeks to receive call from Gerry for passport collection,

One of her student got visa on 26 Sept but till 15 Oct, the student didn't any call/mail from VFS/Gerry. Due to COVID, everything is messed up.

Not yet. Still waiting for email from VFS/Gerry

TB Test on 24 August
Biometric on 10 Sept
No-straight forward email : 26 Sept
Email asking for docs (Bank statement, TB test, proof of relationation) : 26 Sept (tough, my wife submitted all those docs at the time of biometric, but still they asked for it. Consultant saying it happened to most of students due to scanning issue at Gerry)
Escalated case : 2 Oct
Called to UKVI CSR : 15 Oct (Visa application in process) and called again 20 Oct (told me that decision has been made & wait for VFS/Gerry to contact you for passport collection)

Now waiting for the email from VFS/Gerry. The only prob I have is, I am now in UK and I given my Pak numb to Gerry (as I was in Pak at that time). Now, my Pak numb is off, i dont know how they will contact me, either email or what?

do tell me or post an update here whenever you receive any mail for the collection of documents, i will do the same.

I will suggest you to call UKVI and ask them about dispatching documents and update. I am planning to call too on Monday and will let u know.

It was a long wait but my consultant told me it's normal nowadays due to COVID backlogs, Everyone is facing delay. Samething was told to me by UKVI CS team. I have called Gerry, they saying they won't tell anything on phone due to data protection policy.

i just called UKVI and she told me that my decision was made on 16th of oct. and you received a mail on 22 so it will take 3 working days to receive a mail from VFS.
if still then you won't receive any mail you can visit your VFS centre and there is a possibility that your passport and documents already arrived and available.

I just told this to my friend who also received the mail on 20 Oct she went to the VFS centre and luckily his passport was available for collection.
I will suggest you to do the same.. ask your wife to wait today and if still, you don't hear anything.. go to VFS centre along with the collection receipts. I am hopeful that your documents were also available.

I just received an email from VFS GLOBAL, stating that processed visa application received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 28 October.

Please do not visit the Visa Application Centre. We will be contacting you shortly to make arrangements for the collection of your passport.

Now, I am just waiting for there next email for passport collection.

I received an email from Gerry that passport is now ready for collection. Will visit on Monday for passport collection.
