Did you ask for reconsideration or even appeal the decision at that time?amnaali03 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:44 amHi Korekt,
Thanks for reply. In 2017 i applied on 5 year spouse route, sent pay slips, bank statements and all income proof with my application. But they not accepted that and said that you failed to fulfill the financial requirement. Instead of 5 year route, they put me on 10 year route, please see the attached letter above. Now I am Ok on 10 year route, just want to apply for next first extension.
In my view, I have to apply for FLR(FP). No need to prove financial requirement & English test. Just need some letters from my kids schools, GP etc.
Please correct me if am wrong.
Regards
My husband had a Tier 1 entrepreneur visa then, and I was on dependent on his visa. In early 2017, my husband got ILR and I applied for 5 year spouse visa route. Instead of 5 year route, home office put me on 10 year route. My husband and 3 kids, all have British passport now.
Thanks Korekt for your help. One hopefully last question, which option in start i should take, Partner / child / parent /or on Private basis? I think wrong option can lead to wrong application.Korekt wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 2:20 pmIt's fine to extend on the 10-year route. The documents are as outlined above except the financial and English language requirements, and evidence of your relationship with your children as you've outlined above.
Have a go on the online form here. It will also generate a checklist of docs to submit based on your answers.
I take it you would consider applying for ILR based on 10 years residence yourself.
