Nationality Application help

Post by marshal8732 » Sat Oct 31, 2020 10:27 am

I have made an application for nationality, however, after submitting the application my solicitor and I noticed issues and stated it's better to wait.

Therefore we decided to wait for a few more years before re-applying again, I have not given my biometrics so I presume my application will be invalid.
My solicitor stated I will get my money back for the application once it becomes invalid. Is this true?

My question is does this affect my ILR in any way.

Perhaps you could share what the issues are? Maybe solicitor should have spotted them earlier.

Yes, your right should have been spotted earlier.

It's based on 10 years of employment history, I have to wait a few more years before I can get a clean slate for 10 years.

I also need to travel soon would that be a problem if the application becomes invalid.

Not sure what you mean by that - you just need to provide employment details for 10 years OR, if less than 10 years, since the date you arrived.

Hi

No, I have not enrolled in biometrics.

I was registered as employed by the company however I wasn't working with them however this is showing on HMRC documents and the solicitor has advised the application will not be successful because of this.
