Naturalisation

Post by Inderjeet02 » Thu Oct 22, 2020 5:41 am

I was married to a british but something went wrong in our relationship and we divorced few months after my ILR through 5 years route. Got divorce after 2-3 months of getting ILR to be precise. Now i am planning to apply for citizenship after a year since ILR.

Our relationship was a genuine one But I am not sure if i would get any document or help from my Ex partner. I am so stressed and worried.

My question are;

Will it affect my citizenship application?
If it would, then which way ?

Do I need to get any papers from my ex?

Should i find a lawyer to get help with my application?

Any help and advice would be appreciated

Regards

ADDRESS Mixed up on Naturalisation online application

Post by Inderjeet02 » Tue Nov 17, 2020 6:44 am

Hi,

I Hope this text find you all good souls out there.

Just realised that I made an error with dates regarding my address while filling the online naturalisation form.

The error itself;

lived from - Lived to (Just the date got mixed up with different address so instead of showing 6 years, it shows 5 years present in the UK)

Query;

1. would it be wise to withdraw the naturalisation application or to send a covering letter requesting to amend the dates please?

2. Would there be any consequences related to those above mentioned in question 1 please?

Any Suggestion would be very helpful.

My current Mood: PANICKING :cry:

Thanks in Advance.

No need to panic. No issues. Just clarify in the cover letter and provide correct dates in the letter.
