British Citizen Application Refused due to Deception

Hi All,

I need help to remove deception from my immigration history. Currently I have ILR/PR and I applied for British Citizen application on 4th September 2020 but my application was refused (under good character) because I got deception back in 2nd December 2013 due to false/fake bank statement provided by my solicitor at that time for my Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa application.

British Citizen Application Date: 4th September 2020
Refusal: 11th November 2020
Reason: Due to Deception on 2nd December 2013

Home office said that I can apply for British Citizenship after 2nd December 2023 once 10 years completed.
Can someone help me with expert advice how I can remove Deception from my immigration status so that I can apply for BC as waiting till December 2023 is too long?

Reasons for Decision
Your application for Naturalisation as a British Citizen dated 4th September 2020 has
been refused, today, 11th November 2020 for the following reason(s):
It is a requirement for naturalisation that a person be of good character.
There is no definition of good character in the British Nationality Act 1981 but our
policy in regard to this requirement is outlined on GOV.UK.
Our guidance:
A person will not normally be considered to be of good character if there is
information to suggest that any of the following apply:
Deception and dishonesty
If they have been deliberately dishonest or deceptive in their dealings with the UK
government, for example they have made false claims in order to obtain benefits.
Our enquiries into your application reveal that on 3rd December 2013 your application
for Leave to Remain as a Tier 1 Entrepreneur was refused on that grounds that the
evidence supplied in support of this application was found not to be genuine.
You had therefore used deception in an attempt to gain further leave to remain in the
United Kingdom.
The Home Secretary considers your actions constitute a deliberate attempt to
mislead a Government department and as such cannot be satisfied that you meet the
good character requirement for naturalisation. Your application is therefore refused.

Why did you not challenge the deception in 2013??

Hi CR001,
That was my mistake and I left it as it is, and my solicitor also did not advice me tbh.
Is any chance now I can put a case to remove deception please ?

If you can prove that there was no deception in 2013, then request a review with evidence.
