A question about the spelling of foreign places of birth: In my naturalisation application, I spelled my place of birth as it is spelled in my foreign passport (Praha). This passport was then submitted to UKVCAS who entered the details into the system. Now I got my Naturalisation Certificate that says Prague. I am applying for passport now, and have filled in Prague according to the instruction "as in the naturalisation certificate". Should I expect any issues? Will HMPO go according to the certificate or according to the passport? I cannot be the first person with this issue.. cf. Roma v. Rome, München v. Munich? Importantly, it was not me who ever changed Praha to Prague in my application.... Many thanks.
