Requirement is that one referee has professional standing, though both can be professional.
Referees can be friend with you and/or each other no issue.

One referee is expected to be someone who has professionally engaged with the child i.e. teacher, minister of religion, health visitor etc.

If it's a teacher then the address of the school can be mentioned or has to be the address of the teacher?

For child applicants at least one of the referees must be a person who has dealt with the child in a professional role such as a teacher, doctor, health visitor or social worker. Where a child cannot provide a referee who has dealt with them in a professional capacity and has provided documents to show that they have attempted to do so, you can accept 2 referees who meet the criteria for referees on adult applications.

What document are they talking about. Do they mean previous expired BRP card which I still got of my child as I just applied for my ILR and not my child because I knew I could apply for their nationality directly after I get my ILR.

There is a document required for 'Proof of parental responsibility for the child'.

Would the birth certificate of the child meet the requirements of the document considering if the father and mother are taking care of the child and not any other person that is guardian.
