Family Visa extend employment question

hi, im on family of a settled person visa 5 year route and has spent nearly 2 years of it. i have to renew it in July 2021 but currently im on maternity leave since September 2020. My husband is unemployed and due to Covid couldn't find a job after his graduation so was wondering how to show the financial requirements. My employment was paid hourly and the contract is £9 per hour, 35 hours a week. when calculated this for annual income its £16 380 but since i haven't worked since September, can i use this towards my visa? also if my husband finds a job before july can we still meet the financial requirements?

You can even rely on your income earned prior to going on maternity leave but it should need to be sufficient. Usually both partners can combine their incomes to meet the financial requirement:

Where the applicant’s partner (and/or the applicant if they are in the UK with
permission to work) is in receipt of maternity, paternity, adoption or sick pay, or has
been so in the 6 months prior to the date of application, the relevant date for
considering the length of employment and the income from the employment can be
either:

• the date of application
• the date of commencement of the maternity, paternity, adoption or sick leave
