Dear friends, as expected I saw last night on fb someone saying that his wife set(M) application was approved on 27/11/20 and she applied only on 02/10/20 having done biometrics on 07/10/20. This was my nightmare and fear that I shared with you previously and which came true, thanks to the Home Office.
I have emailed them mentioning the above and the Moon guy replied to me after just few minutes confirming that they are assessing applications in chronological order and that they will be in touch in due course with further information. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything apart from waiting as they are not even aware that they are not following any chronological order or logic in assessing applications.
Have a nice day all.
Hi Ameline, great minds think alike!

I was going to post some information about the October SET (M) application that got speedy approval in less than two months. It's completely unreasonable to process October applications when there are so many June/July/Aug/Sept still pending. I don't think that the 'complex case' explanation applies to all of those.
I am a July SET (M) applicant and have contacted my MP a month ago to kindly request them to enquire with HO about the status of my application. After a month of no contact, the MP replied that the HO couldn't explain the delay in processing my application, but would come back with an answer by next week.
I do think it's a matter of a case worker going off sick and the cases in their pot not being reassigned to other case workers. Of course they will only be picked up once the applicant makes a complaint and they investigate what's happening with the person's case. The two cases of delays that made the news got immediate approvals.
