Referee

Post by Happy123z » Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:01 pm

Hello

I in process of applying for british citizenship, can my next door neighbour who is a accountant fill in the profession referee using her own home address and a mobile phone number, or does it need to be a business address with a landline.

Thanks

On the form it say how do you know the person.

Can the referee put down next door neighbour for 8 years or are there after something else.

You upload your referee forms with your other documents.
Referee declarations and photograph should be current.

On the online form I have inputted my referees details

Do the referees need to sign the paper copy or will there do it online via email

If it done by paper copy I am assuming all the details such as name and address will already be inputted on form due to filling online and just reqs sign and date or do there need to reinput all details again.

Thanks

Not aware if/what is being pre-filled on the online form.
Details required are name, address, profession, passport number, how they know you. So I'll doubt it is all pre-filled. The referees need to sign the form and you need to upload the forms as part of your application.
