Absence Count Help Per Year and in Total

Dear All,

I have trouble counting absences from UK to be counted for ILR.

1- What is the calendar year in UKBA, is it from Sep to Aug (which is the normal holiday calendar for most of the organization) or Jan to Dec?
2- How many days in max one can stay out of country per yr. I know it should be less than 90 days in consecutive ...but what is in total if time is spent in different durations in a yr?
3-How many days in total one can stay out of country in 5 yr prior to ILR?

A lot depends on when your visa was granted and when an extension was granted.

It is 180 days absence per 12 months, depending on the answers to the questions above for how it is calculated.

It is NOT based on calendar years. Unclear what you are referring to by ukba sept to aug.

But how many days in total one can remain outside UK in total in 5 yrs pl?
