Thanks for your prompt response. I assume the date of application is the date when you are finalising the IHS and submitting application. If you see my query I had mentioned "as per suggestions on different posts, I entered Work Start as 20/01/21 which is the application submission date and Work End date as 19/01/24 (My ILR dates are from 18-12-20 to 31-12-24). "
Sorry, I'm a little confused. The dates you suggested is "You should have put 20/1/2021 to 20/1/2024 to get 3 years." and the dates I had entered are "Work Start as 20/01/21 which is the application submission date and Work End date as 19/01/24 " which is 1 day less than the day you are suggesting. Still it is calculating for 4 years.
How do I start again? Do I have to register with a different email id? Are we allowed to start another application and what happens to this application in that case?
Hi,krisv wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 9:08 amYou can start a new application anytime, as it is not considered submitted until IHS and application fees are paid.
Just start from the gov.uk webiste link again, when you enter the email address you are using, it will ask whether you want to continue with current application or start a new application.
I did this 3 of 4 times when applying for my wife's dependent visa last month to get the IHS correct.
To get the IHS calculation correct, make the start date the current date (i.e. the date you are filling out the application form)
Further to add, the earlier application has a UAN number associated to it and IHS amount locked but IHS ref is not entered yet in the application. Is it okay to continue with the new application and what happens to the old application?kooper2000 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 10:57 amHi,krisv wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 9:08 amYou can start a new application anytime, as it is not considered submitted until IHS and application fees are paid.

Thanks for your response. I started with the gov.uk link as below.
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... 1577027492
However, I didn't get the option "when you enter the email address you are using, it will ask whether you want to continue with current application or start a new application". Instead, I had to enter all the starting info and now I am at the start of applicant info.
In the earlier application, when I login from the link emailed to me, it takes me directly to the IHS ref page and there is no option to start a new application. The above link has allowed a new application with same email id. Is it okay to have 2 applications in same email ID?
Thanks

Did you get sorted this issue?
How did you got the correct IHS fee? I think its the visa end date which matters (not works tart/end date).
Anyway, can you please assist me if you were successful or how you solved this issue?
What if one needs less than 3 years visa? Is it possible, if yes, then how?
Why one should pay IHS for 3 years if s/he needs only 6 month extension to complete 5 years.
Your any advice will be highly appreciated, / BR

The minimum renewal is 3 years. So yes, that's a pain for all even if you need less than 1 year for ILR eligibility![]()
The call centre is outsourced to a third party agency called Sitel, you are NOT speaking to ukvi staff or caseworkers when you phone.
SO you put 3 years end date instead of actual on ILR-Card? Have you got decision of application?kooper2000 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 6:30 amYes, it got sorted. The end date should be 3 years from the date you start the application.
