Naturalisation lawyer recommendations or other?

Post by waltmaj » Tue Jan 26, 2021 3:32 pm

Hi guys firstly thank you to all the moderators of this platform. I applied for uk CItizenship in April 2020. My status is 10years indefinite + 1year. No odd gaps, no convictions. I submitted my documents via the new App. After noticing other friends who applied later than me get their citizenship. I wrote to the UKimmigration twice and both times they have told me i just have to wait for a response because they deal with third party agencies for their background checks. So now im wondering if a letter from a lawyer demanding progress status would help or hinder? if you have any advice or know a good Citizenship lawyer you recommend. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

You can't "demand" from ukvi. Your application will take as long as it needs to. A lawyer also has no influence either. Citizenship is not an entitlement or a right. It is a privilege.

Members are not permitted to post names and details of solicitors on the forum, so please do not ask for any.
