Urgent help with English test query

Just a quick question regarding this thread:

My wife took initial English Test when she switched from PBS Dependent to Partner of Settled Person.

Now her extension is due for other 2.5 years. After 8 months of this extension (i.e. in Jan 2022), she will qualify for ILR on long residence bases.

Is it possible if she appear in B1 test for this leave to remain so that same test could be used for ILR after 1 year?
