Visa Extension after 30months - which route?

Hi Everyone,
Please I need help with making an application. Very confused with the new 2021 online application, hope someone can simplify the rules and point me to the right direction please?

My initial application was based on Leave outside the rules on the basis of family or private life- because my husband and I were overstayers with one British child, was granted 2.5 yrs limited leave to remain on the 10-year partner route under paragraph D-LTRP.1.2 and consideration under GEN.3.2 based on my British child (exceptional circumstances).

I am due to renew in a few weeks, do I apply using
1 - Partner Route ? My husband is not British, he is renewing under my application.
or
2 - Parent Route? Now my 2 children are British Citizens (registration as British, born in UK) No sole parental responsibility, we all live together.
or
3 - Private Life in UK ? Why was my first 2.5yrs leave not granted under this, but granted under partner route?

I am looking to switch to a 5year route, please is this possible - we both met mandatory requirement for financial requirement and looking to book an English language test soon - is there any process I am unaware of for renewal ?

Agree that the rules are too complex. I think you may both continue on the same routes using FLR(FP)? I don’t see any provisions for switching to a five-year partner nor parent rules.

Got it, will make an application under the same route, and yes you are right there are no provisions for switching under the route. Thanks again.
