Tier 2 PBS Dependant Extension Query, Main Applicant on ILR

Help Please.

I have already got ILR from Tier 2 General few months ago.

My Wife is applying for Tier 2 PBS Dependant Extension in April 2021. She has been on Tier 2 PBS Dependant for last 4 years. (Need one more year to qualify for ILR)

On her application, can she apply to extend her visa only for ONE year?

No, you cannot apply for a one year extension. When the main PBS visa hder has ILR, the PBS dependent will get a 3 year extension as stated in the immigration rules.

It means, have to pay IHS for 3 Years (£624 X 3) such a shame, when only need it for one year.
