Tier 2 Annual Allocations

Dear Gurus,
My firm have applied for the Annual COS allocation renewal in early february as i would need a cos for extension at the end of the year. My HR is new to this, and wasnt sure how to check if the request was successful. We couldnt find any manual that says where to check if the request is successful. Anyone could help tell me so i can pass on the msg to the hr to tell them where to look if its successful?

How long does annual unrestricted cos allocation usually take? We applied for the purpose of extending visa

It can take a few weeks, usually about 8 to 10 weeks unless you pay for priority/urgent etc.

Last year our firm waited just over 2 months for the new allocation to come through.

Is there somewhere in the sms where the hr could check the status of the application? Or do they just have to wait for email.
