Urgent travel after submitting application

Dear All,
I have submitted my skilled health care visa application for extension last week and have my UKVCAS appointment on 22/3.
Unfortunately my mum got ill and is in hospital now and I want to go be with her.
Is there a way to avoid my application being withdrawn?

You can withdraw your application and get a refund if you do it before your biometric appointment.

When does your current visa expire?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
