Date eligible to submit ILR

Post by meenu2104 » Tue Apr 27, 2021 8:55 pm

Hi,
Can someone assist me on my daughters long residence ILR application:

Her initial visa was granted as below:

She was granted visa on 23/05/2011
She arrived into UK on 17/07/2011

Can we know if we can apply 28days before 23/05/2011 or should we apply 28days before 17/07/2011

She has stayed lawfully for 10 years along with me and i as her father got my ILR on accelerated route last year.

Thanks for your assist advance.

Long residence ilr qualifying period starts from the date she entered the UK and not the initial visa issue date
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Just to make sure should I submit her application 28days before 17th July or should I wait till 17th July and apply on 18th July.

You can apply online when you complete 10 years minus 28 days from the date you first entered UK. Best to book biometrics when you complete full 10 years (safer side). These days biometrics appointments run at a 28 days lag anyways.

Hi,
Do you have a priority service for ILR - Long residency route. Considering my daughters University admission in Sep/ Oct 2021 I thought of checking on it.

Regards,

Application to settle if you’ve been in the UK legally for 10 continuous years (known as ‘long residence’)

Yes
However note, some members have reported not viewing the SP service option on the payment page. Maybe its upon availability and first come first serve slots are released every day. If you do not view SP option on the payment page, keep trying for a couple of days regularly especially after 1AM BST.
