If she applied using an existing BCR via the app, she does not receive an invitation for biometrics and does not get a new BRC as part of the process.
If she applied via another form, then she does get an invitation to biometrics and does get a new BRC.
Which one is her case? How did she apply?

I am thankful to many of you all who have provided useful information in past. I have learned a lot and hence I am positing this timeline which may be useful to others
EUSS - pre-settled parents
Application: 12th March 2021
Biometrics: 9th April
COA Issued: No CoA
Passport recieved : 12th April 2021
BRC Card - 20th April
Decision (Pre-settled Status, with documents): 23rd April
We entered UK on a EEA (Family permit) and mistakely applied for BRC using eea-2 form. This was rejected for not submitting proof of continued dependency and not proving qualified status.

The family permit was indeed close to expire. Received the brc the same day the fp was to expire. But I had called the resolution center and they informed that fp continues till the Russ is decided. Furthermore, till 30th June, family member of someone exercising their treaty rights can stay in UK without any registrationTeejayF wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 12:02 amHi,beecee wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:34 amDear all,

Current Proposed Civl Partnership Visa Expiry: 08/04/2021
It has now been 2 months and 9 days since Biometrics, and still nothing.
I've just attempted to do the same now, issued a complaint using the above link due to the processing time of my partner's Pre-Settled Status Application. While my partner is Non-EU, the Home Office was aware of our relationship previously as we had applied for the Proposed Civil Partnership/Fiance visa last year and been approved. As such none of the items on this list apply in our case:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... plications
and it should be a simple application, as they need no further documents; when we submitted the application we linked it to my own, while also submitting my partner's Visa, Passport, and Our Civil Parternship Certificate, Tenancy Contract, Council Tax Bills and any other documents as required.
Her current Proposed Civil Partnership visa also expires in 3 weeks. Does anyone know what happens if her visa expires before we receive a response? Can she remain in the country due to her COA until she receives a reply to her application for Pre-Settled Status, even if her visa expires?
