Home office biometrics appointment booking doesn't work

Post by Arksba » Fri May 21, 2021 12:23 am

Hi,

I recently submitted my spousal visa application. My wife is in India, Jalandhar. I am in the UK. When logging into the online application, the next stage is to 'provide biometrics' however when doing this there is a 'system issue/error' message. This has been the case for several days now.

The solicitor who I appointed to assist with my application sent an email to the home office in regards to this, has anybody experienced similar issues recently or previously?

Is there any news regarding temporary suspension of applications or providing biometrics?

Thanks for your assistance.

Biometrics have to be enrolled. There is no suspension and never had been.

Of course, but when it comes to booking the appointment. It says 'Sorry there is a system issue, we are working hard to resolve etc..'
