1st UK passport father birth certificate

Dear team.

I would like to get some advice.

I have received naturalisation certificate through tier 2 ILR route.
When applying for 1st passport
They are asking for father's birth certificate and marriage certificate. He hasn't got a birth certificate and unable to find marriage certificate.
What should I do in this situation.

Secondly my wife who is going to applying for passport soon hasn't got a birth certificate as well. She won't have parents certificate as well who have passed away long ago.

Kindly advice whether I should apply without above documents?
