British Passport Application

Post by Robbie44 » Tue Jul 13, 2021 5:38 pm

Hi,

Recently received my British citizenship and planning to apply for British Passport soon; however when checking in GOV website it states you need Birth Certificate along with Citizenship Certificate & Current passport; and unfortuantely I never recieved Birth Certificate given being born on 1987 in India(usually birth certificates weren't issue at the time until 87) and born hospital being not operational anymore. Therefore, I was wondering if there are any other way for application or limit my documents by just handful of details with existing Indian passport for parent details ?

Appreicate if you can advise.

Thanks Robbie.

You don't need a birth certificate if you are naturalised or my parents certs.

You only need your naturalisation cert and all uncancelled passports.
