Is the child on a visa or is the child British? It is not clear from your post

Dependant in the visa context means someone whose immigration status depends on you. So a child with British citizenship (born to a British citizen) should NOT be added.

Hi, i got another question about residential. We are living with my in laws . The house is on my father and mother in law. Thats why we need to provide land registry of the house and a letter from my in laws to prove , we are living with them . So do i need to get attested that letter from solicitor or just need to signed from my in laws. And i got land registry from last extension time. Is that ok to use time as well ? Thanks

A simple letter and some evidence is enough

There is no format, a simple letter outlining your circumstances of where you are living and that your inlaws are OK with the arrangements with evidence of their rights to the building or house will suffice. No attestation required.
