PBS Dependent visa - Partner is British Citizen

I wanted to clarify and ask for a legal advice.
I arrived here at UK in March 2017 under Dependent Visa. My wife received her ILR status Feb 2018 and granted as British Citizen in March 2019. My dependent visa was expired last Nov 2018 and applied for extension using PBS Dependent Form while on her ILR status last October 2018. I was granted for 3 years extension (standard duration) and now due to expire this coming Dec 2021.

My question:

#1: What will be my option because based on my length of stay March 2017 to Dec 2021 (4years 9months), I will be 3 months short before I am eligible to apply for an ILR.

#2: is there any 6 months or 1 year extension?

I am aware that I need to extend it again, but I wanted to check if there is any other option to avoid the situation that I will be paying for my extension then after 3 months I will apply for ILR status.

#2 no.

They will normally grant the extension for three years under the relevant rules. However, if they haven’t decided before you become eligible for ILR, then you may vary your application to ILR, subject to KoLL, etc.

What was your wife’s category before she got ILR? Did she get ILR under that category?

As far as I remember Tier 2 General (shortage occupation)
Yes she completed the 5 route on the same visa because she works under NHS
