Can I travel outside Uk after submitting my British citizenship application ?

Dear Moderators,

I am about to submit my British citizenship application and soon after that planning to go to India for a month or so to meet my family.

My question is : can I travel to India after submitting my British citizenship application and able to enter the UK using my ILR BRP after 4 weeks (whilst my application would still be in progress) ?

I could not find anything about travel anywhere so thought to ask here.
Please advise.

You are free to travel. You are only British once you are approved and have attended your ceremony. U til then,you are an foreign citizen with ILR.

I suggest travel after you have enrolled your biometrics.

Thanks much, but why after biometrics ?
Is there any concern if I fly early and choose the date for biometrics for some time/date later when I come back to the UK?

@CR001 - or are you suggesting that we need to do biometrics within 45 days of submitting the application? Please clarify.
