URGENT-Naturalisation Application Question

Post by Haadiz » Sun Oct 03, 2021 9:32 am

Dear Seniors,

I have completed my 12 months since I have received my ILR, I am now about to apply for a British Naturalisation. During the application submission process, I have some confusion on the following if you can please guide me to the correct direction?

1. Traffic Offence: I have been offered a course and 3 points for speeding, I have paid the fine and attended the course. I am unsure If I have to declare these offences in my application as they were not a criminal offence and the case did not present to the court neither police chased me? Please advise
A penalty for a driving offence, for example disqualification for speeding or no motor insurance
This was not in my case?

2. In the last 12 months, I have travelled outside the UK and spent 85 Days in one trip. I understand that I cannot spend more than 90 days in 12 months, am I allowed to travel if my citizenship application submitted and biometrics have been taken prior to my travel out side the UK?

3. I was first arrived in the UK on Tier 1 Visa in December 2013, I have been given ILR in 2019, do I need to provide only last 5 years trips outside the UK from the date of my citizenship application or since 2013?

Thank you and your prompt reply will be much appreciated

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Let me alloberate a little bit on this!

While I was driving on a motorway with excess speed limit and have not realised that the road was limited to 50mph temporary speed. This was happened on the same day twice and at the same spot. For first speeding offence, I have been offered a course but for the second offence I was given a fixed fine of £100 that has been paid in time without challenging in the court and my driver licence was endorsed with 3 penalty point.

I was given 3 points on my licence, do I have to declare that 3 points were endorsed and for other offence I was offered a course? I have not attended any court in this regard? Also, I have few PCN in the last 2 years, do I have to declare them all?

Please advise. Thanks

To avoid the allegation of deception declare all these motoring offences, however, they are unlikely to have a bearing on the outcome of your application.
