Please can someone in this forum help, i am desperate please!joy2dworld wrote: ↑Thu Oct 14, 2021 3:06 pmI applied for my son MN1 through paper application, it has been received since 7 weeks ago. Money has not been taken from my account and no acknowledgment letter has been sent to me. Please can someone advice on what to do. If i should write to them, who to write to and what law to put across in my letter. Thank you.
@alterhase58 thank you i will write to them. Please do you know email address of Nationality so i can write to escalate it with them.alterhase58 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 14, 2021 6:15 pmAll you can do is write a letter to the same address you sent the application to. As you haven't got a reference number attach a copy of the personal detail pages, and proof of receipt (Royal Mail Track). The normal way these days is to apply online where you would at least get payment confirmation immediately, or in a few days. Applications will take months, whether online or on paper. Not sure what law you might quote.
Please i seeked an advice from a solicitor regarding my child MN1 application which was posted, received by Nationality, and no money was taken till date. I was advised to send a pre action letter. Pls is this advice right?joy2dworld wrote: ↑Thu Oct 14, 2021 3:06 pmI applied for my son MN1 through paper application, it has been received since 7 weeks ago. Did you use registered mail?Most people who live in the UK and apply online are able to keep their documents while their application is processed.
Did you send the supporting documents to UKVI with the paper apllication??joy2dworld wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:34 am@magicsign I was told by my friend if i apply online, i will send all documents to HO, this is the reason i applied through post.
@Bash, thank you, i will email them.Bash_ wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:57 amyou can email FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
but if you were eligible to apply online, you shouldn't have used the post as it significantly delays the processing.
