Spouse visa 2 year route visa financial requirment

I have seen on gov Web site new 2 year spouse visa route is written
I want to what is financial requirment of this route
And what is the visa fees.

There is NO 2 year spouse visa route. It ceased on 8th July 2012.

The normal spouse is a 5 year route, 2 X 2.5 year visas and the financial requirment is still £18,600pa and more if there are Mon British children

So it's means home office did not delete this afte 9 year

The 2 year spousal route closed in 2012. But it is possible that some people who started their immigration journey before then may still be eligible under those provisions and therefore that information is still available on the Gov.UK website.

If the spouse started their immigration journey after 2012, the 2 year spousal route is not available to them. They will be on either the 5 year or the 10 year route, depending on their circumstances.

Some people are still on the 2 year route which has different requirement, for various reasons, mostly those who struggle to pass LIUK etc. So the route remains so as not to disadvantage them and their initial route and requirements.
