Hello all,
Me and my family are applying for UK naturalisation via Tier 2 ILR route. We are now eligible after 12 months. However, my wife and my 2 children’s foreign passports will expire in less than 4 months. Will this be an issue for our UK naturalisation application? How about for applying our first British passports if ever the time we’ve been granted naturalisation the passports already have expired? Is an expired foreign passport will be accepted for first British passport application? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your prompt answers. Will there be an additional requirement if ever my family’s passports expire after application but during and before the decision? Same question when applying for British passport? Will there be additional requirements?
