You cannot protect your ILR. Seek to find a new sponsor as you are not eligible for ILR
okay got it. Fortunately my other employer is ready to process Tier 2 sponsor visa but I would need to withdraw my ILR application for that- will I get the ILR fees back at all if I withdraw it?
Tier 2 does not exist. You must vary the ILR application to the Skilled worker visa
Hi Zimba- could you please elaborate this further? what you mean by vary the ILR application? My understanding was only option now was to withdraw my ILR application and submit new Tier 2 change of sponsor general visa with new employer? is that not possible?

You apply for a new application, it will be a variation of your previous application

Hi, I unfortunately have landed a situation where some how my existing employer found out I am interested and provisionally accepted another job while I am still awaiting ILR decision which we submitted early November. Now my existing employer is suggesting that they previously signed a letter confirming I am needed in my role for foreseeable future but now that's not the case so they are planning to let HO know about my situation that I will be potentially a leaver even before ILR is approved.
My request for help here is - is there a way I can let HO know through my application that at the time of application I didn't accept any offer but after that I did and can source the offer letter but can declare that I will not join new employer until I get a decision and until then I will continue my duties with me existing employer if I am allowed to continue to do so. Will this help my application or will result in rejection anyways? please suggest. My application for ILR is moving from Tier 2 sponsor general visa after having stayed in UK for 5yrs and 8months.
First of all, why did you create another account to ask this question ??? This is not allowed. Your new account has now been deactivated
You have already been advised on this above. Your ILR depends on your employer wanting you for the
foreseeable future. If you intend to leave your employer then they cannot support your ILR and UKVI very likely will refuse your application.
Sorry about that- I thought I was using same thread for too many different topics. The problem here is now they are enforcing a leave date on me despite my request and willingness to continue on the job until I receive ILR and been threatened to notify Home office that I will be leaving- I have tried convincing them that I cannot work for anyone else so I will continue my duties here but they not ready to accept it. So what are my options to protect my ILR application now?
You should have thought it through before making such a move now you are found out. You are at the mercy of current employer and HO.

If you don’t get ILR, then child should also apply for leave before it expires.

What you mean by mercy of HO ? I already mentioned we agreed to process Tier 2 skilled worker visa either varying the iLR application or cancelling it- do you think there will be any issue for HO considering skilled worker visa application due to an existing ILR application? Also do not tell me I should have thought before ending up with this situation- after being paid for priority service with the assumption that we will receive decision if not within 5 days then latest by 7-10 working days would have still worked for me to start with new employer in the new year...

Thanks..

.. One question though- I only received email letter confirming application being successful directed to me- doesn't say anything about my wife who we submitted as dependant in same application. This means its approved for both or her is still pending and we should expect separate email for her approval?

I assume both are successful
Hi, I received yet another email from HO today at 2PM and this time it had both successful ILR application letter for myself and for my wife so they confirmed separately now for both of us. I think it is worth sharing so it may benefit others the emails I have been using to chase and request update on my application for last 3 days. I did write to below to HO office as well earlier this week. The auto reply from worksponserd*email says that the response will be linked to our case file so I think emails to below email id does reach directly to the case worker-
auto response message
"(Please note that you will not receive an email confirmation from us. If you have received this auto response, your information will have been received and will be linked with your application and actioned)"
Email that I used for chasing-
Worksponsoreddocumentrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk
complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk
Wrote letter to
ukvi
7th floor
The capital building
Old Hall Street
liverpool
l39pp
uk
Thanks again to moderators here who advised solutions on my queries. Cheers.

Hello, we received the ILR BRP with valid end date of 31.12.2024... although the letter says it doesn't mean our permission to stay ends 2024 but doesn't says any other details- so does this mean we apply for renewal of BRP end of 2024? how much does that cost?

If your BRP expires on 31 December 2024
You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but you have leave to stay longer.
UKVI will update their information on how to update your BRP in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected.
