should I switch Visa from Dependent

Post by jaango123 » Fri Dec 17, 2021 3:09 pm

Hi Experts,

I am on Tier 4 Dependent Visa in UK. While here i got a job in IT sector, over 40 k per annum. My question is should i be switching to any other visa like scale up visa or should i stay as a dependent. If I stay as a dependent i have to wait for my spouses results to gointo the PSW Route.

Thanks,

It is your choice. You were previously already advised that you are permitted to work on your dependent visa.

scale up visa
There is no such visa so not sure what you are referring to.

As the website says, "The Government is set to bring in the new immigration pathway in Spring 2022".

So you are looking at the rules coming out in March-June 2022.

You should look at the rules at that time and take a call.
