ICT to SWV (ICT Expiring very soon) Clarification

Post by AkashD » Fri Dec 24, 2021 4:16 pm

Hi Forum,

Hope someone can answer my question. I have spent some time looking. My ICT Tier 2 leave expires on 12/1/22. My employer has agreed to file my in country (i am in UK) switch to the new Skillerd Worker Visa. I am expecting the CoS in the next few days.

My question is does my online application need to be filed before 12/1/22 or both online application application and BRP needs to be completed before the expiry. I don't want to break any immigration rules which may have negative consequence in the future. Any guidance will be appreciated.

TIA.

regards,
Akash

P.S.- It was out my hand to leave this to the last moment.

Date of application is the date you submit an pay online and must be before your current visa expires for it to be an in time application.

Date of biomtric appointment is irrelevant to this and can be after visa expiry.
