PBS dependent extension when Main applicant ILR is in process

Dear Gurus,

My wife and kids visa is getting over in april 2022 and I have to apply for their extension before that. My own ILR is in process right now on priority and I'm hoping for a response in Jan. However if this gets delayed for any reason, what recourse would my dependents have to extend their visa beyond april? Can they still apply for extension

My Tier 2 leave gets over in April 2022 which is also the last date of their visa.

They can submit the extension application when your application is still pending.

SW 36.1. A partner will be granted:
(a) permission which ends on the same date as their partner’s permission as a Skilled Worker; or
(b) 3 years’ permission if the Skilled Worker was (or is being) granted settlement as a Skilled Worker.

Their applications will be linked with yours and approved accordingly when yours is approved.

Thank you! That's a relief. And her application being in process should grant her leave even after April 2022 when her visa expires right?

If you get ilr, the dependent applications will be processed based on the service you choose and visa start date will be date of decision. The new visa start date is not tagged onto the expiry date of the last visa
