Passport.
The passport pages showing entry-exit stamps. But this only works if the person is a non-EU national and has these stamps.

If the person is a EU national or the family member of a EU national, chances are no stamps or not all the relevant stamps will be available on passport. In these cases, the application tells you to provide letters from employers, and/or educational establishments confirming start and end dates of your involvement with them and that your activity with them (work, studies) was carried out in the UK.

Obviously I checked the OPs posting history (SET O ILR) before simply stating "passports"!!

You checked. Most people won't.

A clarification needs to be made so that at a glance, to an innocent reader, the information contained in this post is not misleading :)

I always work under the assumption that anything we write is public and read by many people, not only the OP.

I do agree with Kamoe. Indeed I am a EU national and didn't know we had to provide letters from employers we worked with over the years.
Anyone who has been successful without providing these? I have my appointment this Friday and I doubt I will be able to receive those from employers on time.. Thank you!

Document Upload

Post by rmoore » Tue Jan 25, 2022 12:01 pm

The appointment is booked and now need to upload the documents.

Is it OK to upload all mandatory documents under one section and extra documents in other sections?

For example, is it OK to upload all documents such as passport, BRP, Degree Certificate, References and consent forms in one section?

Many applicants just upload everything in "other". Caseworkers know what they are looking for/at.

It's what's indicated on the supporting document's section/checklist after you fill in the online form.

@alterhase58 has a comment on the point of alternative evidence. I can't comment on wether that works, as I have no first-hand experience, but see his post here.

Unlike UK ILR holders whose passports are stamped on entereing the UK EU passports are not and that's the reason why we EU citizens are required to provide official type documents showing we were present during the qualifying period, such as P60s, Councilt Tax bills, employer letters or similar. Don't apply without providing those residency documents - but only one type needed. UKVI will ask you to supply those or even refuse the application.
PS. P60s is easiest ... if you kept them.
