Skilled Worker Extension

Hi All,

It is regarding Skilled worker extension for dependants. I m confused and need guidance/suggestions.

I arrived in the UK on 17th August 2017 on Tier 2 (General) Leave to Remain visa. I have extended it as Skilled Worker on 02/02/2022 and received Visa till April 2024.

Can I still apply for ILR on 19th July (60 months -28days)? If yes, Can I extend my Dependants visa for "One Year" only and process ILR for them as well? (OR)

Can I extend their visa and apply for citizenship directly once I receive my Citizenship?

Yes.

If they do not qualify for ILR when you do, their Skilled worker dependent visa will be a 3 year extension as stated in the immigration rules. You cannot apply for less time.

Can I extend their visa and apply for citizenship directly once I receive my Citizenship?

No. ILR is mandatory before citizenship.
