It does not have to be in the shortage occupation list to get a visa. You just need to find a company willing to give you sponsorship.
Is that possible? The purpose of the shortage occupation list is confusing. Nowadays vacancies ask "the right to live and work in UK". That is okay to give priority for citizens and residents, but if employers don't get enough people, how can they do it while the job is not in that list?
One purpose of the shortage occupation list is to make it easier for a licensed sponsor to employ a migrant worker with a qualification included in the list. But it does not mean that the job must be there for a non-UK worker to find a job in their field.plazog wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 6:07 pmIs that possible? Thanks a lot for the good information.
