Skilled worker dependant visa with Main applicant ILR in progress

Post by Nikil1984 » Tue Mar 08, 2022 10:00 pm

Dear All,

I currently hold General Tier2 visa which expires on 07.04.2022. Currently my ILR application is in progress.
I'm applying the Skilled worker dependant visa extension for my wife and son. Their visa expires on 07.04.2022.
When trying to pay the surcharge, what should I give in the visa I hold?
If I give General tier2 visa, the expiry date I can give as 07.04.2022. Then I will not be allowed to pay the IHS
If I give Indefinite leave to remain then will it be considered as Wrong information.

please Advice.
Thank You

Tier 2 / Skilled worker dependant is correct. Put 3 years for duration of dependant’s leave to give correct IHS charges.

Thank you for the kind reply. But if I give the visa end date as 3 years then won’t I be lying?
If I pay the Smaller IHS surcharge and hope the caseworker will request for a top up. Will that be a safer option?

You are not lying. The date is purely to calculate the IHS fee. UKVI know this!
