SW Dependent - Refund of IHS + Visa fee before biometric appointment

Dear expert members,

My wife has applied for dependent visa (My application is for employer sponsored skilled worker visa) from India. She has paid the IHS charges and Visa application fee but not yet scheduled the biometric appointment.

There may be some incorrect information in the Visa application (asked in another thread on this forum). If she wants to cancel this application and apply again, will she get refund of IHS charges and Visa application fee? If yes, please suggest the process and expected time to get refunds.

Also, will it impact the revised visa application?

There is no need to withdraw the application for the minor error re travel date.

Simply add a cover letter explaining.

Thank you for your reply. How to add the cover letter since the online application cannot be updated now? The only thing that I can probably do is book the biometric appointment with VFS global if I'm not cancelling the application.

Am I missing some option somewhere? Please suggest.
