I am applying for my wife's dependent visa - ie., 'Apply to enter the UK as a partner' . She was in UK earlier for 3 years and went back due to maternity and I am bringing my wife and sone back to UK to provide the background (and I have ILR in UK).
My wife is having a degree that was thought in English in India, however the certificate doesn't specifies the medium of instruction as English. I have a question regarding the English language requirement, hope you can assist/guide me.
For the below questions, I answered as below and ......
Do you have a degree that was taught in English?
>Yes
Country your degree was taught in
>India
Does your degree meet the English language requirement for this visa?
>Yes
What will you use to prove your degree taught in English?
>Degree Certificate
and ...... at the 'documents' section, I see the below 2 documents as required.
i am confused around these documents and need some clarify.
For document a) please can you guide me if ECCTIS letter is mandatory for my wife based on her degree certificate ? Or have I answered wrongly
If I need ECCTIS letter, can you guide me how do I get this in India ?
for document b) providing my wife's degree certificate is sufficient I believe ?
a) Ecctis letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the
recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in
the UK AND confirm the level of English to which the degree was taught or researched
b) The degree certificate for xxxxxxx to prove the level of English language required
