Can I leave UK during T1 extension application

Hi,
I m on T1 ent 200k route.
I m going to submit my first extension. Can I leave UK after my biomatrics are done and wait for the decision?

No you cannot. If you leave the UK, your application will automatically be considered withdrawn and you lose your fee paid.

But I had an option to apply from outside UK as well, so I thaught there should not be any problem

If you apply within the UK, you cannot leave while an application is pending.

Note that applications within the UK are an extension application and applications from outside the UK are an entry clearance visa and not extensions as such.

The UKVI website also clearly states :

You must not travel outside of the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man until you get a decision. Your application will be withdrawn if you do.

Yes, but that doesn't mean if you submit an application within the UK that you can then travel out of the UK, which is what you have asked.
