Hi Experts

i entered Uk on ICT visa and converted to skilled worker visa in the same company effective from April 26th before converting to skilled woker visa my tax code is 1257L ,now it is 0TM1

is this common or did i need to request Home office to change? or it will convert automatically?`

because with 0TM1 tax code the lot of tax amount is detucted from salary..

can some one guide to solve this.

It is not home office that deals with tax codes

Contact HMRC to find out and get it corrected.
